How to migrate from June to Accoil
A guide for teams migrating from June to Accoil — with familiar integrations, deeper insights, and a product built for long-term growth.
First off — we have a lot of respect for what the team at June.so built. Their focus on simplicity, accessibility, and thoughtful design set a high bar for what product analytics tools could be. Like many in the product and growth community, we’ve admired their journey.
With June shutting down and the team joining Amplitude, we know a lot of companies — especially in B2B SaaS — are looking for what’s next. Accoil is here to help, but we’re not a one-for-one replacement. Our focus is different. So before diving in, let’s walk through what you need to know to make a smooth switch.
✅ Step 1: Understand What’s Different
Accoil isn’t a clone of June — and we don’t try to be. June came from product analytics. Accoil is built for Customer Success, Growth, and Revenue teams who need to understand account health, usage trends, and retention signals — not just chart clicks.
Start by reviewing our feature comparison guide — it’s a transparent, honest look at what June offered and what we support today. You’ll quickly get a feel for what maps, what doesn’t, and what might not matter depending on your goals.
🔁 Step 2: Choose How You’ll Switch Your Product Data
Accoil works with most modern data pipelines. If you're already using a Customer Data Platform like Segment, RudderStack, or PostHog, switching is usually as simple as flipping a toggle or updating your destination config.
We also support direct API integration, if you're sending events server-side or from your frontend.
For help choosing the right method, check out our integration guide.
📤 Step 3: Export Your Historical Data (Optional)
Want to bring your old data with you? June allows you to export your event history — and we make it simple to import that data into Accoil.
You’ll find a walkthrough of how to do that in our import guide. You don’t have to import historical data to get value from Accoil — but the option’s there if you want continuity.
🗺️ Optional: See How Concepts Map from June → Accoil
You’ll find that many core concepts — people, accounts, events, audiences — have equivalents in Accoil. But the framing may feel different.
We’ve created a conceptual comparison that shows how key ideas translate. For most teams, the shift feels intuitive — but this guide might help if you’re reorienting a team or recreating internal workflows.
